I'm HOME!

i know this post is late. i was taking my time enjoying myself at home once again. damn, it feels so good to be home! and smelling malaysian food once again!! OH! the delicious-ness! i could taste the mihun-sup in my mouth already.. yum~yum! can't wait for it to be served HOT and STEAMING in the bowl! slurrp!

soooo, all in all, we got home, unpacked, go picked up our cat at the pet shop only to find that she's got a sore throat and now she sounds like as if she swalloed a frog! but my se7en is still as CUTE as ever! hoho!!

we spent most of the day sleeping, due to jet lag. then, we had dinner! OMG! OMG! somehow, the usual mamak food that we ate most of the time and kindda got bored with it taste 10 times more delicious than usual! it was perfect satisfaction! PERFECTTO! after 9 days of eating kebab, bread and some basic home cooking, finally! finally! a true malaysian cooking!

though, the one thing i feel bad about coming back here is that i can no longer talk bad things about people, in otherwise, 'mengutuk' as much as i want cuz then, they'll understand me.. HUHU!!

[Paris Report] Day 8

we're just here in paris.. but we didn't go out of the hotel cuz iman fell asleep right after we checked into the hotel.. and he just woke up about half an hour ago..

we went out around the airport using the shuttle to look for souvenir shop and something to eat.. we're dead hungry ok! lapar giler! after we ate.. theenn.. we got some souvenirs!! yup! yup! finally i bought something and finally my money is used! hahaha!!

i bought some for my frens and some for my cuzens.. but its nothing special, really. its not key chains, dun worry.. but it still has paris and other stuff inscribed on it.. hehe! sorry i didn't get the things that some of you guys want.. its just damn expensive here! i know you shouldn't convert the prices.. but sometimes we got to that.. we're not rich people who can buy anything they want for whoever they want.

and not to forget.. some for myself too! hoho! i'll snap some pics of the souvenirs and my things and upload it later.. dun have the time to do that now cuz i have to packed my things.. AGAIN! and once i arrived at KLIA, i'm gonna buy some chocolates and perfumes at the duty free shop.. if i buy the chocolates here in paris, they will confiscate it when we're about to check in.. thats what iman says. so, its safer to buy it in malaysia..

hehehe! oh my.. right now, i'm flooded with endless happiness just by thinking that tomorrow afternoon, we'll be on our way to malaysia.. hoho! can't believe i'm actually saying this.. but i can't wait to go home.. i dun feel attached to this place at all.. in fact, i don't even want to come here for the second time unless if i got free tickets! seriously! maybe, if the weather is colder and if we have more time, it wouldn't feel so bad.. but, once is enough. at least when people asked if you've been to france, i can say i have.

it's getting darker here.. and still haven't repacked my things.. and right now, i'm missing my frens and dayah soooo much! can't wait to see them again! tessa and dayah! i know u guys are reading this.. miss u all sooo much! tess and faiek, i'll see you guys next week! twinz, leeka and dayah, i might be going to penang sometime in july.. but dun get ur hopes too high.. maybe.. just maybe.. insya-Allah.

[Metz Report] Day 7

today was... nothing.. yeah. nothing. no big happy things happen.. today was tiring.. and totally pisses my ass off!! i'm not gonna go into details.. its just gonna irritates me more. it got nothing to do with the people around here.. just some stupid internal affairs.

so, today we went out around town.. well.. not really. we only went to gallerie lafayette.. its one of the leading department stores in france.. something like harrods. but not so expensive.. we buy nothing there cuz its just plain expensive.

then we went home and start to pack our things. it was hectic and damn tiring.. and i smell like shit here due to over-sweating.. and i'm gonna take a nice bath later cuz we won't have time tomorrow. we have to be on our way by 5 am cuz our rented car's time limit is until 10 am.

then we'll be going around paris once again to get some souvenirs. aand thats all for today.. not in the mood to upload pics yet.. just wanna bathe and get some sleep.

[Luxembourg Report] Day 6

the report is one day late.. i know.. not in the mood for blogging last night .. back to the main story..the trip was...short.. thanks to the blazing hot sun! damn it! it was fricking hot OK! like 32 degrees kind of hot..

the building is nice.. kind of got a different feel instead of in france.. its hard to believe that luxembourg is a different country from france and the size is like.. the size of melaka? LOL but we're pretty close to belgium but iman says things are expensive there and there was a traffic jammed..

i like the people in luxembourg.. aside from staring at my mama all the time cuz there seems to be nobody there wears tudung and iman says so himself.. wow.. and we meet this nice indonesian uncle and there seems to be a trip from the chinese community. people in luxembourg CAN speak in english! finally some english! iman says that if they want to pass high school, they have to pass three language tests, french, german and english. wow...

and the people there have a high standard of living.. partly due to their high salary.. most of the shops there are branded shops.. and expensive cars are like.. everywhere. you can see BMW, Peugeot and Audi almost everywhere you go.. its like kancil and proton cars in luxembourg.. that's cuz european cars are cheap here.. less taxes.. and my dad's new C200 Mercedes is a taxi here! damn! though most of 'em are Avant-Garde version instead Elegance..

so.. we went to the park and.. oh.. luxembourg's scenery is kinda weird but nice.. i dunno how to exactly describe it.. so i'll do it with pictures instead.. buuutt.. i don't have the pics with me right now.. so.. later dude!

my mama bought some souvenirs and as usual i haven't bought anything yet.. my money has been left untouched in the purse ever since i landed in france.. sad.. basically, there's no shopping when you travel with ur parents cuz they think its a waste of money and they'll start saying "we're here not to shop.. we can do that in malaysia.." and bla bla bla.. hello mom and dad! my body is like an european size kind of body.. not the kurus kering, petite typical type of malaysians.. and this is like an opportunity to buy clothes MY SIZE that doesn't cost more than RM200 as the usual price for my clothes.. its not like i want to buy those branded clothes here! the last time i went to london, i bought 3 pairs of jeans that cost 5 pounds each! 5 POUNDS! and i'm still wearing it now.. huhu!

forgive my random ramblings.. i'm just a 'lil pissed! that's all.. and confused.. dunno what to buy for my frens.. takkan nk beli key chains that says PARIS or stuffs like that? even when the twins went to penang they bought us a key chain and a pair of earrings each.. huhu! and i'm in france.. there must be something else other than key chains.. but i don't have the time to browse through a shop.. u know why.. i already said it in my last post.. T_T

thank god we're going out around metz this evening and we're going back to paris tomorrow.. i don't like paris, but the reason i'm looking forward to go to paris tomorrow is because of, i want to get my hands on a collection of postcards with classic pictures.. fell in love with it the moment i saw them.. and maybe i want to go to sephora to find some things for my frens and cuzens.. sorry if i don't get some things that you guys want.. limited everything..

not much story about luxembourg rite? thats cuz we were there for 3 hours or so.. not much to do and kinda lost our mood for cam whoring and touring cuz of the weather..

[Colmar Report] Day 5

as the title says, we went to colmar today! YAYS!! its the original colmar.. not the bukit tinggi whatsoever! meow=3 we left at 12 noon cuz my brothers woke up late.. thank god its only a 2 hours drive.. and as usual, the scenery is beautiful! no need to explain any further..

this picture on the right is taken at a petrol station, on the way to colmar.. unfortunately, Strasbourg is not on our list cuz we have limited time.. we can go there actually cuz its just a few kms ahead of colmar, but.. mama and papa is tired and all.. so.. you get the whole picture already. huhu! and Switzerland is only 66kms away from colmar.. damn!

iman drove to colmar all the way and he's excited as usual cuz colmar was the first place he was sent to for 2 years to learn language before being transfer to Metz for the real engineering study. so, he showed us around, the place he used to live, his language school etc.

<--- its the Court of Colmar.. one of the first things we saw when we arrived.. but, we toured the old town instead cuz that's the main deal in coming to colmar.. hehe! gosh! i love it soo much! the place is very classic and its actually the original building from a few centuries ago.. they purposely preserve it.

and there's a strong resemblance to the colmar in bukit tinggi.. obviously, cuz they copied the architectural and design.. and it was damn HOT here! i'll say it again.. i dun feel like i'm at the real colmar if it wasn't for the people and the souvenir shops..

so we wandered around and take pictures and the usual stuffs.. LOL! my mama bought some souvenirs, but i didn't buy anything.. actually, i haven't bought any souvenirs yet.. thanks to my papa who is always in a hurry.. to him, if we're here to sight-seeing, then do only that.. no shopping or whatsoever.. huhu! BORING! i just have to endure it since he's paying for everything..

ok.. back to the main story.. the pic on the right above is one of the few actual building, preserve from the 9th century or something.. its veerryy old and scary.. if seen up close..

on the left is Maison Pfister.. my bro said its where most of france's philosopher and intellectual from centuries ago was born.. and now, the bottom of the place has been turned into a wine shop.. but some of the tiles is actually the faces of those philosophers and their names.. most of them that i've never heard of.. hehe!

next, the pic on the right is my mama and papa at one of the many corners in the old town.. cute eyh~~

we finished touring the old town, then my papa drove the car back to Metz, and every one is tired and hungry and sleepy..

so, that concludes all for today.. we'll be going to Frankfurt, German or Luxembourg tomorrow.. which ever.. asalkan pegi.. LOL! i'm sleepy as hell! and wish to go to bed.. nite people!
